Our engraved granite headstones, memorial plaques, acrylic signs and personalized products are made to your family's approved specifications. Because they are customized, we do not ordinarily offer refunds or returns simply because you change your mind once production has begun. This does not affect your legal rights where goods are faulty, materially misdescribed, or do not conform to the agreed order.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment in full (100%) is required before an order is confirmed for production. A payment receipt alone does not mean artwork has been approved. Where an artwork proof is supplied, production begins only after you approve the final proof and confirm the specifications. Please review names, dates, spelling, photographs, dimensions, materials and requested finishes carefully before approving.
Contact us promptly in writing to request a cancellation. Before design work begins, we will refund the amount paid less any reasonable, disclosed and legally permissible costs already incurred. Once our team actually begins creating or modifying custom artwork, the design fee is earned and nonrefundable for a change-of-mind cancellation. The design fee is the greater of J$15,000 or 10% of the order total (calculated on the product and customization charges before any separately itemized delivery or installation charges). The exact design fee is stated in Jamaican dollars and accepted by you before payment, and it is credited toward your order total rather than added to it unless a separate fee is expressly agreed. Any refundable balance is assessed after deducting the agreed design fee and other reasonable, disclosed and legally permissible charges, without double charging. Merely receiving your order or placing it in a design queue does not make the design fee nonrefundable; design work must actually have started. This policy does not restrict remedies required by law, including where Lydian Memorial fails to provide the agreed service or makes an error.
Once approved engraving, cutting, painting or other custom fabrication has begun, a change-of-mind cancellation may not qualify for a refund. We assess exceptional requests individually and will explain any proposed adjustment. No part of this policy excludes remedies required by Jamaican law.
If an item is defective, damaged in transit, materially different from what was agreed, or contains an error attributable to us, contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photographs. We may offer correction, repair, replacement or refund as appropriate under applicable law, and will arrange collection or another appropriate remedy where the law requires us to do so. An approved proof does not excuse defects in workmanship or production errors.
Please notify us preferably within 7 days of delivery or collection so that we can investigate promptly. This requested notification window does not reduce your statutory rights or prevent later claims that are legally valid.
Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method where possible. Actual crediting time may depend on your bank or payment provider. We will confirm the refund decision and the expected processing timeframe in writing.

We share only the information necessary with website hosting, payment processing, delivery, installation, production or accounting providers, under appropriate confidentiality and security arrangements.
We process personal information on appropriate legal grounds, such as fulfilling a contract, complying with legal obligations, legitimate business purposes where permitted, or consent where required. You can opt out of promotional messages using the instructions in those messages or by contacting us.
We take reasonable organizational and technical measures to protect information and restrict access to personnel and providers who need it. We retain information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described or required by applicable recordkeeping law. No online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

We supply headstones, memorial markers, engraved products and related services. Product photographs are illustrative; natural stone may vary in shade, grain and surface characteristics. Final specifications, dimensions, materials, colors, wording, price, applicable taxes and service charges will be shown in a written quotation, order confirmation or invoice.
You must provide accurate contact and order information. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, 100% payment is required before an order is confirmed for production. An online order request does not become an accepted production order until we have confirmed payment, accepted the order and received the required design approvals. Payment options displayed at checkout depend on the authorized payment provider and may change.
We may provide a proof showing names, dates, layouts and images. Please review it thoroughly and approve it in writing. We will manufacture according to approved specifications, subject to our workmanship obligations. You confirm that you have the rights or permissions needed to use the photos, text, logos or other materials you supply to us. You retain rights in your original materials; we may use them as needed to fulfil the order.
For a change-of-mind cancellation after custom design work actually begins, the nonrefundable design fee is the greater of J$15,000 or 10% of the order total, excluding separately itemized delivery and installation charges. Unless stated otherwise, delivery and installation are separately quoted services. Customers are responsible for providing accurate location and contact details and for obtaining cemetery, property-owner or other required permissions for delivery and installation. We will advise if site conditions or access limitations affect the service.
Quoted production and delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly agree in writing to a firm date. We will advise of material changes and discuss available remedies. Nothing here excludes rights arising from our failure to deliver as agreed.
We aim to keep website descriptions and prices accurate, but may correct errors before accepting an order. If an error affects an order, we will contact you with the corrected details and the options available under the law. We may change site content without changing orders already agreed.
Nothing in these terms limits liability or remedies where doing so is prohibited by law, including rights regarding defective, misdescribed or non-conforming goods. Any limits or exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by Jamaican law.

This policy applies to delivery, collection and installation of memorial products from LYDIAN MEMORIAL.
We provide delivery and installation by arrangement, subject to destination, accessibility, product type and availability. Service areas and fees are confirmed in the written quote or at checkout before the order is accepted. Collection may be available where expressly arranged.
Unless the written quotation expressly states otherwise, delivery and installation are charged separately from fabrication or engraving. Any additional handling, long-distance transportation, site preparation or special access charges must be disclosed and agreed before being incurred.
Our standard planning estimate for production is approximately 14 calendar days after full payment, final artwork approval and availability of required materials, unless a different timeline is provided in writing. This is an operating target, not a guaranteed delivery promise. Large, complex or special-order products may take longer.
We will contact you to arrange an appropriate delivery or collection date. Please provide a reliable contact person, an accurate address and any access instructions. If an agreed delivery cannot proceed because of incorrect details or lack of access, reasonable disclosed rescheduling costs may apply where legally permissible.
Please inspect the item as soon as reasonably possible and notify us promptly of apparent damage or incorrect specifications, preferably with photographs. Reporting quickly helps us investigate; statutory rights are not limited by a stated reporting period. We will provide lawful remedies for non-conforming or defective goods.
Installation depends on site suitability, cemetery rules, permission to enter and work, weather and access. Customers must identify required cemetery approvals before scheduling. We will explain material obstacles and agree next steps. We do not carry out work that is unsafe or prohibited by site rules.
If a delay occurs, we will provide an updated estimate and communicate your options. If we cannot fulfil an agreed order or delivery obligation, any refund or other remedy will be handled in accordance with the contract and applicable Jamaican law.
